How to Activate Windows 10

Before activating, check if your Windows 10 is already activated. Go to 'Settings' > 'Update & Security' > 'Activation'. If it says 'Windows is activated', you're good to go.

You need a product key to activate Windows. It can be found on a sticker on your device, in your confirmation email, or within the packaging if you bought a physical copy.

Windows 10 can also be activated with a digital license. This is automatically linked to your Microsoft account if you upgraded from a genuine copy of Windows 7 or 8.

To activate, go to 'Settings' > 'Update & Security' > 'Activation'. Click 'Change product key' and enter your 25-character key. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

If you face issues, use the Activation Troubleshooter in the Activation settings. It can resolve common problems or provide detailed error messages for further assistance.
