Introduction to Ironsworn: Starforged

Ironsworn: Starforged is a tabletop RPG set in a sci-fi universe. Unlike many RPGs, it's designed for solo play, cooperative play without a GM, or traditional GM-led play. It's a spiritual successor to Ironsworn, but with a space-faring twist.

Starforged uses Oracles, a system of random tables, to drive the story. These Oracles can generate everything from star systems to character motivations, providing endless possibilities and ensuring no two campaigns are alike. They help solo players feel less alone.

Characters in Starforged are built using Assets, which are unique cards representing abilities, companions, and gear. This modular system allows for deep customization and evolution of characters as they embark on their interstellar journeys.

The game is set in The Forge, a dangerous and uncharted galaxy. Unlike many sci-fi settings, The Forge is new and largely unexplored, filled with mysterious ruins, alien life, and countless opportunities for discovery and adventure.
