Creating an Impactful CV

Surprisingly, each CV should be tailored to the specific job application. Highlight relevant skills and experiences that match the job description. This increases your chances of standing out among other candidates.

Using action verbs such as 'designed,' 'implemented,' and 'managed' can make your CV more dynamic and impactful. It conveys a sense of accomplishment and can make your experiences sound more proactive and engaging.

Whenever possible, quantify your achievements. For example, 'Increased sales by 20%' or 'Managed a team of 15.' Numbers provide concrete evidence of your contributions and can make your accomplishments more impressive.

Many employers use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to filter CVs. Including relevant keywords from the job description can help ensure your CV passes through these systems and reaches a human recruiter.
